The Course
Each course is 14 days long. There are two courses:
- 28/06/08 - 12/07/08
- 13/07/08 - 27/07/08

Upon arrival, participants will be tested for their proficiency and placed in beginner, intermediate, or advanced classes of no more than seven people.
Monday through Friday, from 9am to 12pm, participants receive in-class instruction covering
grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in the context of the history, art and culture
of San Francisco and California.
Along with lectures from the community
at large,
participants will have opportunities to interact with Americans studying Italian in
San Francisco.
Course fees include:

Excursions
In addition to a weekend of camping in Big Sur and surfing in Santa Cruz,
participants will experience San Francisco's greatest attractions on carefully
guided excursions.
These day trips allow the students to directly apply their in-class instruction in
carefully supervised real-world situations.
